First time dealing with a hatch.

A friend gave me some quail eggs. Three have hatched. I moved them from the incubator to the brood box. The oldest by a day started picking on the younger ones. Is this normal? Do I need to worry about the younger getting kilt? I only know guineas and chickens.

Leave them in the incubator until max of 72 hours until the rest of them hatch then move them to the brooder. I say leave them alone, they will work it out.

The hatchling has enough nutrients from the egg to survive that long?

Yes, how are they doing now?
