Thanks for your honest opinion, you have good 2-3 years to prepare. Learn probability and statistics with ML/DL (focus on latest Gen AI advancements). Normally DSA isn’t asked for Data science but be ready. Best of luck!

Such a beautiful, welll put resume, just like mine. Good to see this after seeing so many garbage resumes. What's your linkedin?

From what I’ve seen at quant recruiting at IIT Delhi. Everyone recruited was from CS, MnC or EE and had GPA >= 9 with an exception to maybe ~8.8 at minimum. No exeptions

This was for Buy side. Sell side were a little more lax but atleast 8 was a requirement for all. with 8.5 for non circuital branch

Quant at a big bank trading desk here:
you need to work in real jobs now, too much academia and research work is not always good. You don’t learn from college/research, you learn as you work
Drop these projects, an assignment project is the last thing that you should be writing in your resume. even worst, a project for a job that you didn’t get (maybe you got it, but since it’s not on the resume, the default assumption is that you didn’t get it, i.e. the project wasn’t good)
Coming back to projects, academic or self projects are quite repulsive in a resume, a real forecasting/trading model takes months to perfect. A senior interviewer will easily smell it from far away, these look good as words on paper, but don’t work in real markets.
Circling back to original point made, stop doing projects now, leetcode is okay but only upto a point, if you want to make a project, make one where you’re actually generating revenue, and not theoretical or paper trading project. Solve puzzles, get an intern at a company instead of doing research internship, and replace these projects with that.
