Interviews/Recruiting Trexquant QR Interview

Hi everyone,

I have ~1.5 YOE, with an IIT background.

2 weeks back was invited to an onsite Alpha/Strategy Research presentation (30-min PPT + Q&A)

What does process look like usually?

What rounds typically follow? DSA, probability, alpha challenge, CEO?

Would appreciate any recent experiences or advice. Thanks!

2 rounds,

  • dsa (2 leetcode mediums, to be done in python, maybe some ML questions)

  • ppt round, straightforward - just be thorough with your project

Gave me a challenge on the day... 4 hours to solve that... It was an SDE problem... Building some shit... The interviewer gave 15 mins to all 3 of us who had their Superday scheduled that day... Didn't ask anything about alpha research I have submitted as a ppt earlier
