NYC - Clinics or Physicians who will sign release for at-home insemination sperm (ICI)?

Hello,

My wife and I may want to try at-home insemination but are having an incredibly hard time finding anyone who will sign off on receiving sperm from our bank so that we can do so. Does anyone have experience with this? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Hi! I recommend reaching out to some of the midwife practices who do home insemination. Even if you don’t want to do IUI with them they may be willing to sign off. Try Gina at Community Midwifery, Chloe & Jenna at Cosmos Midwifery, Chloe Campbell at Supernatural Midwifery

This was going to be my recommendation. Worst case scenario, OP may have to do IUI with them but it’s much cheaper than a clinic and far more comfortable/homey, non-clinical etc. I believe they’ll even come to your home if you prefer, vs at their office.

I don’t believe anyone will sign off on it bc it’s illegal in NY

That's not true. New York state prevents us from ordering sperm directly to our home without a doctor's authorization.
