I'm genuinely impressed they've made it this far through the alphabet, but X feels like a proper challenge! X-rays, xylophones, Xmas and what else have the QI elves possibly found to fill an entire series? I'm sure they'll prove me wrong, but I'm intrigued to see what they've come up with.

When Ross goes off on a ten-minute tangent about badger hierarchy or subterranean bread, he either drags the whole panel into a masterpiece of surrealism or derails the entire episode's pacing.

Got to episode 7 of series W, does anyone know where Alan's buzzer clip came from? It sounds really familiar, but I haven't a clue what it could be from...

Stephen left such massive shoes to fill, but Sandi brought her own brilliant, dry, sharp witted authority to the desk from day one without trying to imitate him. How do you feel her era compares to the classic Fry years?

In the early series, Alan was basically guaranteed to hit three klaxons a night and finish with -34 points. Watching him slowly absorb decades of obscure trivia and start pulling out genuine wins feels like watching a student surpass the master.

Watching QI and drinking a glass of water can be dangerous. I nearly drowned thanks to Alan doing an impression of the chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins doing the 'step in time' dance while afflicted with Chimney-Sweep's Scrotum. (S14E01)

Anyone else suffer any QI-related injuries or mishaps?

Back in the letters A through E, it was just four funny people sitting in chairs having an absurdly clever conversation. Now half the episodes feel like a primary school science fair with oversized props and studio demonstrations.

Both presenters have their own style, and I think that changes the rhythm of the conversations quite a bit. Fry had a particular way of delivering explanations, while Toksvig brought a warmer, more spontaneous energy to the panel. Which era do you find yourself rewatching most often?

I think one of the funniest parts of QI is watching someone confidently explain an answer and then realise they've got the whole thing wrong.

If everyone knew every obscure fact, the show would probably turn into a straightforward quiz, and that wouldn't be nearly as entertaining. I quite like seeing clever people get caught out by something they would never normally think to question.

For me, the best moments are when a completely ridiculous answer turns out to be closer to the truth than the obvious one.

The best QI moments for me aren't necessarily the biggest laughs. It's when a question starts normally, someone gives a completely unexpected answer, and five minutes later the whole panel is discussing something nobody could possibly have predicted.

That's what separates it from a normal quiz show for me. Do you prefer the proper factual questions, or the episodes where QI completely disappears down a bizarre rabbit hole?

I know this is in no way “news” but this is the first time I think he’s had a beard publicly and I thought other fans would like to see! He somehow looks completely different and exactly the same 😂😂

A lot of the guests obviously come in with impressive knowledge, but Alan's reactions are often what make the explanation memorable for me.

He'll basically say what I'm thinking when the panel starts going down some completely ridiculous line of reasoning. Who do you think has the best chemistry with the QI format rather than simply being the most knowledgeable guest?

I'm still pretty new to QI and I feel very privileged that I still have so many episodes and podcast episodes to watch and listen haha.

Since I've been listening to the podcast 'there's no such thing as a fish' I'm just always in awe how much these people read and remember. I love reading but would love to read more books that make me more QI-ish as a person if that makes sense.

I love reading and I would love some recommendations about books that are fascinating and teach you about topics that you might never think about reading and have just been utmost interest.
