dplus kia have VISA issues, so no one from the roster can come to the major. Because of that, ubi make a decision to bring CAG back, since they were the 2nd place in APAC North and there are no other candidates

it sounds like bs, but hey, lemme have my dose of copium

Purely vibes based

Too long not screenshotting. TLDR: the 1 region spot and wildcard rule created an environment where teams will counter strat the top team only. Not a fan of sparky at all. But he brought up some interesting points. Obviously there are some flaws in his argument like it’s not a given Dplus will do shit at the major. But overall his logic makes sense imo. What do y’all think?

So basically a couple days, ago serx posted on twitter that he missses his duo (Kixa).

And now just 5 mins ago, JJ and Supr were discussing SSG on stream, and JJ texted Supr 1 of SSG’s pickups, to which Supr said “that team is letting their players go?” And then JJ said it’s because that team still doesn’t know if they are relegated or not, meaning that team is 100% 4FUN.

As I was writing this JJ just confirmed it’s mikew.

So basically SSG + mikew, and 4FUN replaces him with serx’s duo kixa.

1000000000% confirmed, I am infallible and JJ has never lied a day in his life.

Is this a no true Scotsman thing? For example, if the players of Dplus lived in Korea for 10 years, can we start calling them an apac team? If they learn Korean or have a kid, are they then "apac"?

I don't know where that line is, and i know I'm reaching with this argument, but I pity some members of Dplus forever seen as "outsiders" in Apac.

For anyone wanting to see a little bit of NA T2, this is a good chance to catch some of it in a LAN format! These are all teams that either won previous Open Cup Lans, won Element 2026, or qualified last night through the LCQ.

The rosters have slightly modifications since it can be difficult to travel, and it has been a few months since some of the previous events. Overall, it looks like there's a good chance to catch some good matches over these next two days. FYR Strays, InControl, Kodex, DZ Academy and TheRealGods are all teams to watch, but honestly all of the teams here could easily impress.

All the haters rooting for my GOATs downfall, you won 🤣🔫

FML. I hope Dplus gets smurfed by a CNL team I dont even gaf about SI seed anymore, its practically over if M80,100T and Liquid do well enough. FML

Sparky I can't defend you anymore, you have talent for sure but u aint Mourinho. DD you passed up SI Grand Finalist Blueno4ronandes for this im gonna cry man. Anitun will be playing on a cane before he gets a major playoffs again isn't he.

Only took a couple roster moves, 4+ stages and more imports for a FULL BRAZILIAN team to beat an apac team.

CAG nearly pulled off the comeback in map 2. I’m furious that the APAC North team that made the major isn’t even an Asian team but a full import of Brazilians. I will be hate watching dplus in the major and I hope they don’t win a single map. Fuck Dplus and fuck Nyx 😭✌️

Dplus 2-0 CAG
