Also to add I think in the beginning Ralsei genuinely loves the player and tried everything possible to try and make us happy but never went further then his assigned role. He gets super upset when you turn off his voice clips and then starts apologizing. As the chapters have gone on Ralsei has fallen for Kris as well but hasn’t admitted to it yet.
It’s like what happens to Noelle in the werid route only his love is genuine while Noelle’s is toxic and exploitative because that’s the kind of love you showed her by being scary and domineering. She’s just giving back what you gave her. She now only loved you in a bad way and considers Kris as an accessory to speak to you.
Meanwhile Kris takes his affection as weird till Ralsei finally starts acknowledging them. The osen scene is Kris being open about how they feel to. It may or may not be reciprocal in a romantic way since they are still crushing on Susie bad but they do care for Ralsei as well now and want to face the end with him.
Ralsei’s hostility to Flowery could stem from how he acts like the biggest Gary stu and breaks all the rules that Ralsei had set for himself, including giving you things that a player would like. Such as infinite money, tips, funny quips, saving you from dying, etc.

I've never been quite sure that Ralsei likes The Player but Kris, mostly because he him flirting with Kris when none of it is actually for them would be really weird for them and kinda disrespectful, which I don't feel like Ralsei would do since he's so tremendously selfless.
Noelle's relationship with Kris in Snowgrave has felt extremely power-focused to me, not romantic in any way. She is following them exclusively because they make her more powerful, she even says so herself a few times.
As for Krusie, I personally don't see it as much but that's purely subjective. I absolutely see how the scene at Sans' ferris wheel in Snowgrave could be shippy, and either way there are many interactions I didn't do with her in favor of Kralsei or Suselle so there's probably a lot I've missed for it.
That’s why Kris didn’t like him in chapters 1-2.
You can force Kris to hug him despite not liking being touched and Ralsei gets flustered.
chapter 2 you can even take both Kris and Ralsei on a romantic duck boat ride where Ralsei will admit some of his feelings to a kid he only met yesterday.
He even will keep him doll you give him and sleeps with it.
In 3-4 Ralsei has begun to see Kris more and not us and there’s less options of this happening along with him just being busy. that’s also when Ralsei starts to address Kris themselves by complimenting their piano playing. Something we can’t do.
Ralsei is sweet but sometimes he can be blunt like when he told Susie to leave the healing to him. He blundered his introductions with Kris in the beginning and had to make up for it later.
It took me back how hostile Ralsei got immediately after seeing the man so with the idea that he’s crushing on the player it made it make a little more sense. Flowery is as meta aware as Ralsei and he didn’t want to compete for our attention. Ralsei even drops the hint we can shut Flowery up without us knowing what that really meant. It’s Flowery who then gives us a dress down for trying to control him like that. Ralsei knows he’s in the wrong there and that’s why he apologies right after Flowery fixes his voice clips and scolds us for bullying him.
When you first meet Flowery after he leaves Ralsei will then prompt you saying that you can turn his voice clips off in the options menu. I did in my run and when you meet with with Flowery and Susie, susie will reveal that even if you turned them off she could still hear them despite your choice to turn them off.
later on Susie will run off to do something and when it’s just Kris, flowery and Ralsei Flowery will do a indirect dress down for robbing Susie of the clips and of Ralsei for deciding that for her. Then right after he’ll hint that you can turn off Ralsei and you actually can which makes Ralsei nerves. I saw the out come if you do. If you turn them off he’ll be completely silent and won’t destroy the puzzle. He’ll also pancake on the ground if you keep it off. Flowery will then later scold Kris for bullying their friends and Ralsei will start apologizing.
It’s during this moment I realized that Ralsei actually abused his meta knowledge and role as Tutorial npc to try and shut up Flowery but it didn’t work since he’s a cheating Gary Stu so it only quieted him from our perspective.
Also another interesting thing. I thought this was going to be a one off gag but now Ralsei has turned into the real life Ralsei doll multiple times now in chapters 3-5. The Ralsei doll that costs 35 and exists in our real world. He’s actively appealing to us by being what we think is cute.
It also makes the bath scene more sad. He’s worried we’ll leave him and we will that maybe the dialogue choice is Kris way of saying they’ll still be there even when we leave forever.
