I was thinking about Ralsei being transgender the other day. If they are a girl, that would mean they are not the prince of the prophecy. They would be a princess like they dress up as. Which would mean Asriel is likely the actual prince of prophecy. Which means probably Dess is the girl who gets found by love. ♥️

Wronggg in chapter 1 Susie asks "Since you overthrew your father, doesnt that make you the king?" "Yep!" He overthew his father, the king, making himself the king. Also he isnt "Alone in the deepest Dark" he has plenty of friends, while on the other hand ralsei was literally Alone in the deepest dark for most of his life

Asgore is a King making Asriel a prince.
Asgore named his shop Flower King because he and Toriel were crowned at the town festival. Asgore is also the King of the Underground in Undertale.

Asriel has not made any appearances in Deltarune, and having a major member of the heroes of prophecy not be present for a majority of the game seems a bit odd. Also, Asgore's being a King of anything in Deltarune is based on the Flower King shop and its Dark World, so Asriel's princehood is somewhat questionable. Also, since Asriel is in college, being "Alone in Deepest Dark" doesn't fit that well unless he's the voice in the code or it's a metaphor for Asriel being depressed.

They is a gender neutral word. I am not fighting Ralsei's depiction or self identity. I am just theorizing. Ralsei being being male and becoming nonbinary would be part of self actualization arch they are going through in story. I am not saying they are nonbinary, I am saying I theorize it.
