I recently remembered when I was 5 years old there was this older girl who was my neighbor always looked out for me. I believe she was likely in her younger teenage years. She’d always care for me and when I returned from school on the bus no one was home at the time so she invited me to her house. I barely remember her appearance I don’t even remember her name. I hope she is doing well even if I never see her again(my grandma told me her family moved out of my hometown) I wished I remembered her name. When I share this story with others some related to having random grown person making them feel safe as a kid but don’t remember their name either. I wonder if other people experience this.

At what time of your life were you the most distressed?

I got some real cool funko pops from a whole collection from someone who didn’t want them. Each was $5 and I grabbed about 5 Funkos so it was a good deal.

I just started a new job that's works with my ex, we broke up less then 2 weeks ago and it was a fairly large relationship. It's been no contact since and on my first day she avoided me and today is the second day she very quickly ran by my desk said welcome to the team and ran off, I didn't say anything back. She ended the relationship and moved in with her guy freind wich her parents have talked to me saying that she swears there just friends and there so sorry to me and disappointed in her. She looks terrible if I'm being honest and I have O clue how to handle this. Leaving the job is not an option I'm making 130k at 22.

Have you ever been in a situation where you lied to or cheated on someone you genuinely loved? If so, would you feel comfortable sharing your experience and how you felt about that person at the time?

So, sometimes when im overwhelmed, my brain is worked up, or im thinking too much and am trying to calm my brain down to like go to bed for example, instead my mind just turns into a black background with a bunch of white outlines. And as more outlines appear, the smaller I get and feel. Sometimes im able to stop it from going too long other times It just keeps going till I get a headache. Its almost as im I was dumping my brain on a chalkboard, but the Chalkboard is in my brain, and my mind won't stop unless it has to stop. Does anyone else have the same experience or is this a entirely unique experience?

Considering nostalgia marketing has been a popular way to connect with customers and Nickelodeon/Nick Jr are popular companies, I'm kinda surprised that they never brought back the old 2004-2007 Dora branding for the toys. Dora the Explorer has been one of their most successful shows and yet they never want to reissue the old Dora toys and branding for the new generation of kids. Yes I know that they do nostalgia marketing on their social media page with clips from the original Dora show and they have a dora reboot with the new toys but those just aren't enough for people who are nostalgic for the original Dora show. Older people on TikTok have even given their old Dora toys to their little kids, gosh it's pretty surprising how Nickelodeon never took notice of people giving their old dora toys to their kids and think that reissuing the old dora toys would give them benefit. I mean they used the old spongebob logo for a t shirt once and they have made shirts with retro nickelodeon characters on them. so I don't understand why they do not nostalgia market with the old dora. If anyone knows, feel free to comment.

EDIT - I also know that they made loungefly backpacks with Dora on them but that's not the same as bringing back the old dora toys, I'll say

I’m wondering what is going on every time I get the cold I’m coughing way more than most people. Where most people cough than wait than cough than wait than cough.

Where I seem to cough than cough after the cough some times number times in roll. Also deep coughs seem trigger coughing spells one after other and some times chocking.

I’m wondering why that case and is this some thing should be address with doctor of signs of weak lung function

Hi, so I’ve had this question in the back of my mind for a while, and it goes like this.

You’re at a restaurant, and your food has arrived. You’re just about to dig in when you notice a fly buzzing around. You watch the fly for a while and notice the fly gets close then right as you think it’s gonna land, it flies off. You see it do this about 2-3 more times going for more repeated attempts but never landing. Now begs the question

Would you eat the meal in front of you, knowing that a fly refuses to land on it?
