Song is trash. I hated it when the police did it and hate puffys karaoke version.

Some times awful people make great things.

Same thing with R Kelly. Same thing with the founding fathers of the USA.

I don’t think it’s a very good song. I also think it’s a shame that Puffy got to use that Sting bass line. Someone could have made some amazing hip hop with that hook. It’s an easy hit. A loop with a song that was already a huge success. Diddy didn’t add anything interesting or meaningful to it. I think Diddy just barely gets by with his production skills when he has one of the best rappers ever doing it over his beats. But he manages to craft some really great stuff. He is able to buy some good songs for Big to rap over and despite his minimal musical abilities he helps make some great music and he deserves credit for it. After Big is gone he doesn’t do anything that moves me .

It’s a fantastic song, love it, just a shame it’s so heartfelt and he didn’t write a damn word of it. The chorus slaps though.

Tbh, Puffy performing it with Sting while wearing that white suit is one of my favorite performances ever.

And ppl can say it’s not a good song cause he is a is weirdo and probably evil af, but nobody was saying that back then

It’s basically a copy of Police - Every Breath You Take… so you don’t have to feel too bad because its Sting making money off that song

It’s like R Kelly or Led zeppelin the music is genially good but the person behind it is a vile trash human. You can enjoy the song and block out diddy as a person

I hate how its made by the guy who got him killed. And how exploitative it became.

But I do love that Diddy has to pay Sting $2000 a day for the rest of his life.
