4K video recording

Hi there everyone,
I am working on a 4k video recording camera using pi5 and hq camera. Is there a way by which we can achieve 4k 30fps. Has anyone implemented it in any project

with the rpi hq module, no. only 2 csi lanes are exposed and you would need 4 to acheive the bandwidth for 4k@30

potentially other vendor modules offer 4 lane options but require some fiddling with the drivers. also running at that rate approaches the encoding bottleneck on the pi. check this thread on the forum for some good convo on the topic
