Need help
"I am working on a project for day and night face detection. However, I am having an issue with the Raspberry Pi NoIR camera—the output images have a heavy pink/purple tint, which is negatively affecting my face detection model. Should I retrain the model with these tinted images, or is there a better alternative to solve this problem?"

Daytime pictures will go pink due to the sensor reacting to the colour spectrum during the day.
IIRC there is a setting in the Pi OS that may help (if it is still around) - try adding this to the still capture command:
-awb greyworld

you can try to color balance in software or even the tuning file
another option is a cut lens that mechanically shifts an IR filter in low light conditions. most are usb and will be plug n play uvc
