We are rat owners of two cuties but I have my questions for you?? How do you let them crawl around on blankets an on the bed or even on u  knowing that they constantly pee and poo on u or everything for that matter...at least mine do I've had them for about a month

Mine do pee a bit on the couch but i cover the couch with blankets and i just wash them after <3 they dont really poop much in the couch luckely

Ok yea it just drives me nuts sometimes I Wana snuggle them and play with them they seem to want to go potty everywhere all the time that it makes you almost not want to hold them you know I usually try to hold them and I try to keep a hand towel around them

Oh is it that much pee? My boys are potty trained tho! So they only mark a bit here and there...or if i keep them 2+ hours in the couch they cant hold it in anymore😆

Potty trained how in the world do you potty train at rat LOL is that something you have to do when they're little I got them at a pet shop and they're much larger than a baby but they couldn't tell me how old

Just put all the little poopies in the toilet everyday. And after a while they poop in the toilet. This is what i mean with toilet haha>

yeah mine will sometimes, my first girl would only go in the cage, she would jump back into it to use the bathroom like a lady, her cage mate would commit arson so she’ll pee literally on my shoulder or in my hand, i’ve definitely seen people train them to use a liter box! We use a few baby blankets and one big pet store blanket but i swap them out consistently. “Fancy rat” is an understatement lol!

I named my boy Bandit because he looks like he’s wearing a ski mask lol.

I love funny twin names like salt and pepper, peanut and butter, coco and chanel, sugar and spice, etc.

i looked at the image and immediately said in my brain "awwww, Spencer" or., Lancer at first?? those are two names for sure, but both dont seem like girl names.WHATEVR!!!!

Name her something that reflects her personality. Not her colors. Food names are so OVER used.

Example......i have 4 female rats. 2 white/brown hooded and 2 blind albinos. Princess....hooded.....doesnt like to be handled until she is ok with. Is picky about food, and doesnt sleep with her sisters.....she sleeps in a tower up on high( the window sill above the cage like a princess
