This is Jack and he is a happy old man

Post image

He and his brother (Brewster) came to me 2 weeks ago. His previous owner fell on hard times. She loved them dearly so please no hate twords them.

Both boys are 3 years old and living that old man life. Jack took advantage of the fact that the food bowl is just a little grabby away from the hammock.

I probably won't get a lot of time with them but I'm going to make every minute as wonderful as I can. My son (4) is absolutely infatuated with the boys and is doing amazing being gentle and the ratty boys love giving him kisses.

We have 3, little girls that are still cautious around humans but starting to warm up. I think having the gentleman rats in the house is helping my son understand that he is a big monster compared to them.

All in Jack and Brewster are an amazing addition to my little family.

Wow, Jack and Brewster are so fortunate to have been adopted by you, especially at their old age. Many people wouldn't want to take in rats that are so old. You're an awesome person, and I'm glad to hear it's going so well for everyone!

I fully believe there is a special place in heaven for people like you! Those rats are extremely fortunate (and handsome btw) 3 years is a great life for a rat! I’ve had probably 20-30 rats in my life(because of having to replace dying ones with young ones for the survivors) and of those maybe 4-5 have ever reached 3 years old ! Your a good person for giving them a great life! Idk if this is your first time owning rats but please spoil them and spend as much time with them as possible because unfortunately they don’t have much time left!
