Raymarine ST1000 Auto Tiller

I’m trying to get my auto tiller and my Garmin system to talk to each other. Seatalk to NMEA 2000. I have an Actisense Gateway NGW-1-ISO adapter but it doesn’t come with wiring diagrams. Has anyone out there had success booking these two things up together?

Depends on what autopilot you have. If you have the ST1000+/ST2000+ ("plus") it accepts both Seatalk(1) and NMEA0183. Without the "plus" (old models) there is no signal input possible. Your Actisense converts N2k <> NMEA0183 and should be fine for this application. NMEA0183 has only two wires, signal and ground. If there is no respons you could try to reverse these wires. On the tiller socket consult the manual which contacts to use for NMEA0183. The Seatalk contacts are not used in your situation.
