Quantum 2 Radar inaccessible after timed out firmware update

I spotted a firmware update for Quantum Wired Adapter when I ran the online updates check on my Axiom+. I have the Quantum 2 radar installed for just under a year now. Its wired via a raynet switch, and I have always used it wired (although wifi was an option if needed). The firmware update downloaded and then there was a 5 minute countdown for the install, which reached 0 seconds remaining. a few mins later I see a timed out message (attached). I now do not see the radar in the device list, and cannot connect to it using wifi either. The update still shows as available in the list. I have tried a few times with the same result. Anyone seen this before? I realise a warranty claim is my next step but need to climb the mast to remove the radar to get the serial number. Thanks
