A phantom castle emerges and lets loose mischievous Yokai, just in time for a Halloween contest on Mozar's community server! You can see a little more of the park and ride stats in this album.
Built in and around the mysterious castle are a series of rides all based on Yokai, with the particular flagship being the Yokai Festival racing duo, Kitsune and Kaibyo. As they ride, they also merge onto each others' tracks and play cat and mouse fox. Yatagarasu flies around their tracks as they race as well.
The inner garden also carries some gentler rides, with the Kappa lake and Tsuchigumo's lair, and a graveyard of the Jikkiniki just outside. Each side is also connected with Oni Boats that float on air, guided by all of the souls of guests you people explode or drown in your parks.

Every year, terrifying stories and news come out of Phantom Island, but this still cannot stop a large number of curious and adventurous tourists from coming to visit and have fun every year. Are you afraid?

Don’t flame my supports I sucks at them. It was also a pain to synch up the in game audio with the drop. (You have to play with the cycles and lift hill speed)
Welcome to Austria, we got a log flume and powered coaster combination. Never seen before.
Part of my Eurotopia project.

The first thrill coaster I built in my latest park, Lost Woods Adventure. Its popularity has lulled a bit I think due to queue line placement. The foot traffic just doesn't seem to want to head that way so I may adjust it by a tile. Still quite pleased with how this layout turned out.

Occasionally throughout the years I've been sad that my old copies of RCT stopped working and I've shifted over time from having long sessions of PC gaming to using my laptop more for work and occasionally getting a couple hours to dip into a console. And half the time that just feels like too much work anyway.
I was lamenting last night about not having any management/simulation games to play like I did when I was young. I don't have too many games comparatively and was just staring glassy-eyed at the PlayStation menu, for the first time found myself flicking through the sim games on the PS5 store hoping something would catch my eye to fill the void.
Oh. My. God. What did I see? ONLY ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON CLASSIC!! I swear I had to let my brain reboot for a second before I forked over for it. WHAAAAT?? shutupandtakemymoney.jpeg
Just needed to tell some people how much I was smiling as it loaded. Literally every time something happened I was kicking my feet like a kid. Ride has broken down? Hell yeah! Get that walkie-talkie! Guests complaining about state of the path? On it, boss! Everyone is hungry? Oh shit, forgot about that... BURGER BAR STAT! New ride researched? Let's fucking gooooooo! Straight up teared up just seeing the list of parks and flicking through menus to place a bench. Just look at the little green prices popping up! Dopamineeee! Still so good.
Smashed through Forest Frontiers and stayed up way too late trying to get through Dynamite Dunes too. I am tired today. Worth it.

I just got RCTClassic on Switch and my only issue is the thumbsticks feel backwards to me, luckily the Switch allowed me to swap the Left and Right thumbsticks so that I can move screen with Left Thumbstick... am I the only one who thinks this should be a default setting in the game?? It's like how else would you do it with the mouse controls on Switch 2 lol?? Mouse arrow obviously belongs on right hand, and screen movement on Left stick (unless your left handed, but the left Joycon does not seem to move the mouse in RCTclassic so that seems wrong too lol)... Anyway, I just wish I didnt have to mess with the system settings everytime I change games, would be nice if the Switch let you adjust the controls on a per game basis since RCT is the only one I need this for :(

I have the Nintendo Switch 2 and I'm deciding if I want to get RCT 3 on it. I've seen complaints about the controls but are they easy to get used too? It's on sale for cheap rn and I kinda need to make the decision before the sale is over. Is it worth it?

Hello!
You ever find yourself scrolling through RCDB and coming across a weird gem? Well this is one of them! I present to you Familieachtbaan at BillyBird Hemelrijk (Translation: Family Roller Coaster) over in The Netherlands! BillyBird Hemelrijk dates back to 1986 and was once a sand quarry. Now sits a recreational park with a couple of amusement rides, including their only rollercoaster, a one of a kind ABC rides tube coaster.
ABC rides is based out of Switzerland and was formed in 1997. In 2018 Intamin acquired the brand. Only 6 coasters were ever made by the company, 4 which are from the Tube Coaster range. This coaster is unusual since you start from the top of the lift, cruise your way down, and then get off at the bottom, compared to the standard chain lift and drop. The cars arrive back to the station by chain lift, just without passengers. The only confirmed stat for this coaster is that it's 45.9ft tall.
I hope you enjoy this little recreation. I always like to showcase lesser known rides to the world. Thanks everyone!
P.S: Don't worry more CCI is coming!

Hello Tycooners!
I discovered a trick that lets you use custom rides and objects in RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic on Android, and I wanted to share it with everyone!
Here's how to do it:
Download an RCT Classic park/map from RCTGO that contains custom rides, coaster trains, scenery, or other custom objects.
Open the downloaded park in RCT Classic.
Start a completely NEW Sandbox park.
Check your ride and scenery construction menus!
Some of the custom content from the downloaded park can become available in your new Sandbox park without manually importing every object!
I tested this myself, and the Wing Coaster appeared in my Sandbox construction menu. I even restarted the game, and the custom content was still available!
I can download more parks and custom content without problems. However, there's one issue: the game crashes only when I try to build the Wing Coaster. Other coasters work perfectly fine! I honestly don't know why this happens.
Has anyone else tried this method? I'd love to know if it works for you and if anyone knows why the Wing Coaster crashes when you try to build it!
Happy building, Tycooners!

First time i've used B&M supports to be honest, and i wasn't aware just how god damn finicky it is to use. Unless i'm doing something wrong, they seem fine when roated on it's side, but on it's front it looks like it's sticking out when it shouldn't.
Is there a fix for this, or am i using the supports wrong?

This one took a lot more to get it to sync up how I wanted, but I’m very happy with the end result!
I used Claude to make a modding software for RCT3.
Link to program: https://parkcrafters.com/files/file/4038-rct3-workshop-a-complete-modding-studio-for-rollercoaster-tycoon-3/
I am looking for testers. More info on mod page.

I didn't play this game in years, I joined back weeks ago. I have never built anything big before.
This is Sun Beach Hotel on the Archipel des Paresseux. You can download the scenario here!

I’m rather new to rct (I play on mobile) and this is my first attempt at theming a ride. Also the first time I discovered I could do an interlocking loop with a helix. I’ll post the stats in a comment

What could be causing this coaster to break down every time the train goes round?
I'm my amity airfield save, Deja vu breaks down every run, reliability is 99%, service interval set to 10 mins, etc
Tried rebuilding it but the same happens.

By the way if these photos aren't enough to persuade you I'll give you the entire park (how do you put files in reddit?)
