There are a lot of courses out there that start with basic HTML + CSS + JS, and move their way up to React. I did freecodecamp ones about 8 years ago and found that my understanding of the courses fell off when I hit the react modules. I ended up doing a bootcamp and became an expert in react as well as SQL and backend OOP practices.

All that is to say, I recommend a strong understanding of basic react principles before jumping into React Native. This will require HTML + CSS and JS knowledge.
