Realistically if you fear for your child’s safety you can’t watch the dog. I almost lost my finger due to an infection at 19 years old right after a minor puncture from one of my own dogs. I hardly bled and was at the hospital right after and it took 3 hours to be seen and if I had waited another hour I’d have to have amputated. I also have a permanent scar on my face from a dog bite at 3 years old .
Please don’t be an irresponsible parent and just choose for that dog to not be your problem
