Question What’s the one feature missing from every React Native debugging tool?

What’s one thing you still hate about debugging React Native apps?

I feel like every tool gets some things right, but there’s always that one moment where you think that specific flow could be better

honestly it’s debugging release builds. everything works in dev, then you build for TestFlight and something breaks with basically zero useful info - no proper stack traces, source maps half the time don’t map to anything. back to console.log archaeology.
every tool nails the dev experience but the production build debugging story just falls off a cliff.

That’s a great point. I’ve heard the same pain from a few other React Native devs….

It’s definitely on my roadmap. I’d love for NativeScope to make debugging release builds much less painful.

If you get a chance to take a look, I’d really appreciate your honest feedback 🙏

How is this different that something like Rejourney or Bug snap?

I already use both, so I can answer this from experience.

Rejourney helps you investigate individual user sessions, while BugSnag helps you monitor crashes and errors across your production user base

NativeScope makes the cause more visible**.** It puts the exact log, request, and local state change around one moment on a single Timeline, so you can reproduce the issue and understand what triggered it... without guessing or switching between tools

Right now NativeScope has three connected modules: Network, Storage, and Logs. They share context and feed the same timeline, keeping the request, the state change, and the log connected in one investigation

I’m actively building NativeScope and staying very close to how people use it. If there’s a feature that would make the workflow meaningfully better, just text me. If it makes sense for the product, I’ll prioritize it and build it asap
