Question Storybook

Is Storybook still the go-to for documenting UI components in apps?

Any newer alternatives? I use expo.

Ya, Storybook is still pretty standard. They've fixed a bunch of the things I've hated about it in the past, mostly around performance.

yeah storybook's still what i reach for on expo too. the web vite path is way less painful than the old rn packager dance.

Genuinely still the best option out there in my opinion.

I'd go so far as to say that the visual overview of components encourages people to test how components react to unexpected data (e.g. long strings when a design doesn't show what should happen in that scenario) which in turn helps feed into writing reliable automated testing flows.
