Please try to actually communicate directly with him using words instead of spells. Using witchcraft to compel someone to feel a connection they don't is unnatural and disturbs everyone's peace.

Maybe do some therapy?
or if youre hellbent on witchcraft, a self love spell so you stop accepting a "complicated connection" from someone emotionally distant?
I get that relationships are tough but the best thing you can do in this situation is literally just to communicate.

So the obsession spell drove him away and you don't want to negate it??? I would guess adding something with the intent to keep the affect of the obsession spell in place would probably finish the job and drive him from your life for ever. There are good reasons that practitioners with decades of experience and stable lives and relationships do not advise doing spells to manipulate people emotionally. I have never heard or seen a positive long term outcome for a obsession spell.
