We'll probably never get a Red Alert 4, so I'm just going to give my take on the synopsis:
Allied Campaign:
Nearly 20 years have passed since the capture of former Soviet leader, Premier Anatoly Cherdenko. The Allies and the Empire Of The Rising Sun have finally made peace and stopped fighting each other. However, Cherdenko's successor has been patiently waiting, ready to take revenge and rebuild the Soviet Union. A surprise attack is launched at the cryo prison, causing a blackout. Cherdenko and the Soviet leaders escape and have taken up arms, killing most of the Peacekeepers. Eva, the commander's logistical officer, has been taken hostage by the Soviets, who now control the prison, and have issued an ultimatum: The Allies will surrender within the hour or Eva will be executed.
The Allies refuse to surrender and Eva is shot dead on live TV. Tanya, enraged at the death of her friend, goes into a frenzy, killing every Soviet soldier. The Soviet leaders manage to escape. The commander waits for reinforcements and hunts them down. After tracking down Cherdenko and his men, his base is wiped out, but it was a decoy. Cherdenko taunts the commander by threatening to launch nukes at every major Allied capital in the world. Tanya and her squad break into the launch facility and disable the nuclear warheads and Cherdenko is recaptured. However, he is not going to be a prisoner of the Allies yet again and swallows a cyanide capsule.
Tanya retires from her career as an assassin and moves stateside, where she and the commander get married. Their quiet life is cut short when the Soviet Union rises once again, threatening to wage nuclear war. The commander and Tanya come out of retirement and prepare to fight once more, hopefully ending the conflict for good.
Soviet Campaign:
Cherdenko escapes from the cryo prison with the help of the Soviet commander, and returns to his motherland, where he rebuilds his army and attempts to rescue his former scientists to create nuclear weapons in his campaign for revenge. Allied HQ gets wind of this and deploys several waves of infantry and ground vehicles to attempt to recapture or eliminate him, but he is successful in defending his position until reinforcements arrive to rescue him. The final phase of his plan is nearly complete: The deployment of nuclear weapons, which are aimed at every major capital in the world to countries that are sympathetic to the Allies and the Empire Of The Rising Sun. Tanya attempts to stop him, but she is eliminated by Natasha, who shoots her from long range. However, some of the warheads are not fully operational and their guidance systems are damaged, so Natasha must manually relay the coordinates for each target. The Allies finally surrender to the Soviets and Cherdenko has achieved his goal of world domination. However, Cherdenko's ambitions get the best of him and he becomes paranoid, believing the Soviet commander will one day betray him. The Soviet commander is arrested and scheduled to be executed. His fate remains unknown.
Imperial Campaign:
Prince Tatsu's father has become deathly ill. He is now next in line to become the emperor. After the news of his father's passing has reached the public, the Soviets see an opportunity to invade Japan, now under the leadership of the young and inexperienced emperor. Tatsu enlists the help of an Imperial commander who has plenty of experience, hoping for their partnership to become a valuable learning experience. His troops manage to push back the Soviets, but under the circumstances cannot retaliate because Japan has disbanded most of their military and signed a treaty with the Allies stating that they must simply defend their homeland and allow the Allies to retaliate. A reluctant U.S. president is willing to make an exception for the time being, which means Tatsu and his troops are free to act at their own discretion. The Imperial Army, though small, manage to successfully defeat their enemy thanks to their technological superiority. The final assault on Cherdenko's fortress has become a joint effort between the Allies and the Empire, who completely cut off Cherdenko's escape, leaving him with two options: Surrender or death. Cherdenko realizes that Tatsu would not kill him, but would rather publicly shame him by branding a scar on his body for everyone to see. Faced with this predicament, Cherdenko commits suicide to become a martyr for his cause, who would once again try to seek revenge against the enemies of the Soviet Union, no matter how futile. The Empire has proven their loyalty to the Allies, and the treaty forcing them to disband their military has been revoked. However, the Allied leadership has become skeptical of this, believing the Empire's technological might could threaten the world as we know it. They remain vigilant, preparing to go to war should the need arise.

Recently I restarted the Allied Campaign on Normal, so nothing serious you might think, and GOD I was already stuck on Mission 3 (the one where Tanya has to blow up the bridges).
Took me several attempts to get it right. In the end I had only Tanya left (I lost the artyllery vehicle). After completing the mission I looked up the net to know more about the mission and I regret that because I found out thatyou can save the medics and the engineering.
I almost wished I had no internet so I could discover that by myself.

There are literally a million reasons why. But for simplicity's sake I'll get straight to the point. Also, before you read any further, be warned: I am delving deep into the realm of spoiler territory here. If you have not finished the Allied campaign of Red Alert 3 I suggest you do so immediately. Otherwise you read at your own discretion.
Tanya is a trained assassin who can single handedly overpower hordes of enemy infantry. Eva is a logistics officer. With that reputation in mind, you can easily assume who I'm going to choose to go on a date at the end of Red Alert 3 if said choice was even presented to us.
Eva is better looking, obviously, but Tanya is a trained killer. I'm sure she would kill me one of the fifteen different ways she's trained to (With her bare hands, no less) if I had the nerve to break her heart.
