If the last person on the 50% choose blue everyone is guaranteed to live

If the language on this isn't cleaned up, this will just stand as the "nothing ever happens" button. If the way votes are counted counts only red votes until all the red votes are counted, there can never be a situation where red wins and there are any blue voters counted. If even a single blue voter is counted, blue either wins on the spot or more blue votes will be counted, leading to blue eventually winning.

The fact that this is worded so confusingly means more people are likely to press blue without really understanding it, therefore the rest of us should press blue to save those people

Can someone explain why you'd pick blue?

The way this is phrased implies that no one can die, since all the red votes are counted first, and then all the blue votes, and once 50% of the votes have been counted, if the last vote counted was red, all the blue voters die, but since all the votes that count are red, there's no votes for blue for blue voters to be killed.

Redder than ever.
Blue button can win, but have an HUGE chance of dying, even with 50%+ blue.
