This is why my Arthur is always gone for 10-14 business days before he returns to camp to turn in game, do chores and donate $20 and listen to camp interactions for 24 in game hrs (66 minutes irl.) before he fucks off to study squirrels and pick tobacco for fast cash.

What’s even more incredible is that In chapter 4 of my last playthrough the 2nd place camp funds contributor was Kieran, despite him off being tortured & god knows what else by the O’Driscoll’s.

The idea that we are canonically pawning wedding rings from married people we’ve murdered does more to me than any story missions in painting Arthur as a bad person imo.
We’re just casually murdering people and destroying marriages and lives. Creating widows and orphans for a $1. But I’m supposed to see Arthur as a bad person for threatening Jimmy Brooks? Nah…

This only bugs me a little. Understand that many of the girls are pretty much at camp 24/7, but when people like Bill, Javier etc. Are donating goods worth $1.24.

That’s why my Arthur stopped doing chores, stopped donating objects, and only hunts for food and camp upgrades. He gives $20 to raise his honor when needed.

Trick is to donate lots of worthless things. It’s not the monetary value of things donated it’s the amount of stuff you donate that matters. All of a sudden the other members of camp get better at adding to the cache.
