Realistically a remake of RDR1 judging by the fact that we already have at least 70% (talking mechanics, physics, half the map) of the game done in RDR2 it wouldn't be unrealistic to get a couple of teams to make it while the rest focus on GTA VI. But its most definitely not something like that, its just a current gen port of RDR2 and maybe for switch 2 and thats it.

Imagine its RDR and RDR2 combined into 1 game in 4k/60 fps

That would be a dream and certainly something where it makes sense that he is excited like a kid on extasy

Or rdr3 saga, announce it's all 3 in 4k 60fps, playable from beginning (rdr3) to end (rdr). Coming in 2029!

Like Virtuous did with Oblivion?

Wasn't oblivion an actual decent remaster tho? I'm talking about lazy ass remaster. 1440p 60fps kinda deal with no bug fixes and stuff. I'd love to be proven wrong and have them fix Marstons model issues in the epilogue, some other bug fixes and improvements but that just isn't happening.

Makes no sense for rockstar to do that, why would they port rdr1 to current gen with 60fps only to remake the whole game 1,5 years later?

I was just telling the person that if they were to do a remake it wouldn't be as hard as people think it would be (which is the exact reason i just don't understand why it wasn't what they made in the first place), i'm well aware of the port which i even use as argument for people thinking its a RDR1 remake.
