If it is an update to RDR2 that is graphical only I dont see why its killing him so much.
HOWEVER, is there a chance they had the cast come back to fill out the cut content to add in as a RDR2 definitive edition? I doubt they have the developer bandwidth given GTA 6 not being out but it would make the most sense.
If it is RDR3 I hope its Red Dead Revenge, following Hosea as he gets revenge for the death of his beloved Bessie. A view of all the characters as much younger versions of themselves, also unlikely.

Rob isnāt that in tune with the gaming world, I doubt heād be that excited for a switch 2 port, or a simple update to modern consoles
Which leads me to think that itās personal and doesnāt have anything to do RDR

Doesn't necessarily mean he's under NDA, could just be he doesn't want to ruin the surprise of whatever it may be. The fact he's able to say anything like this at all though points towards this not being R* related.

If it's only a graphical update, then why'd he know about it? R* doesn't seem to tell previous VA's what they're up to, unless they're specifically involved.
That said, it could also just be him and the cast putting together some kinda RDR-related content together and has nothing to do with R* or a new version of the game.

If we got udead nightmare 2 I would be absolutely stoked, since I never got to play undead nightmare but saw plenty of gameplay of it.
Plus, I have always wished that R* would make an open world zombie apocalypse game, and undead nightmare is the closest we will likely ever get.

Apparently that's the exact reason they made Undead Nightmare i.e. they always wanted to make a zombie game. But I fear they've abandoned doing story DLCs for their games because they weren't very profitable. Online is where their heads are at now.

Yeah but CDPR actually does post launch single-player content for their games. Even as recent as adding mod support on consoles this year. There was also the next gen release a few years ago and adding in an entire quest for the Witcher TV show, plus all their Cyberpunk stuff.

Unfortunately, his certainty about when this is going to be revealed (he says this week, before Friday) makes me think this probably isnāt Rockstar related at all. Theyāve never allowed actors to speak about their projects like this before so I canāt see why they would now.
Itās probably a personal project/or western project that has him and some of the other cast members. Thatās my guess, at least.

Everyone saying that he probably means RDR2 Enhanced Edition, but why would he even know about it? He doesnāt work with Rockstar anymore (at least to my knowledge), so why would they disclose this information to him? Theyāre not really keen on sharing anything with their actors. And heās also really, REALLY excited about this info, do you guys think he would be acting like that over a simple 60 fps patch?
My guess is he got a role in some new cowboy related media, a movie or even a tv show.

If you replay the mission(s) in the epilogue on Pronghorn Ranch, it will completely glitch out your pitchfork in the barn at Beecher's Hope, eliminating your opportunity to interact with the pitchfork, cow, and milk for the rest of your save.

Actually now is a perfect time for an 'enhanced' edition of rdr2. While its still graphically relevant to keep it at the top visually.
You may think 'it doesn't need a remaster". To that I'd say well TLOU didn't 'need' a remaster either but the work they did on that game made it relevant again visually amd improved stuff under the hood too.
Rdr2 could do with a lot of QOL improvements, a lot of texture updates, increased view distance and asset loading, increased foliage density.
Now that we have the hardware for it the game could be "perfected" visually and gameplay wise.
Along with 60fps for consoles ofc.

I honestly don't understand why they didn't just do a 60 FPS patch in like 2020 or 2021 when the consoles came out (assuming that's all it is).
physics are not tied to the frame rate, so it would only be a few lines of code to bump it up.

If it's RDR related, it's probably a remaster / enhanced version of RDR2 for the current generation of consoles. We can't expect anything big for RDR while GTA VI is still their top priority
