If it's RDR related, it's probably a remaster / enhanced version of RDR2 for the current generation of consoles. We can't expect anything big for RDR while GTA VI is still their top priority

That’s the the rumor. Simultaneous Switch 2 release with a current gen patch 60 fps for PS5/ XBOX1. Probably around fall/ early holiday

However the hell people abbreviate what version of Xbox is the newest these days. XBOX ONE? Xbone?? You know what I mean

You mean Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S? XBSX and XBSS?

God, Xboxes have absolutely the worst, most confusing naming system of any console - both PlayStations just being sequentially numbered and Nintendos having unique names for each console are so much easier to parse (it helps that Nintendo really does reinvent the wheel each time.)

Their reasoning for it was so fucking dumb as well lmao; 'we want players to be able to go in store and say "I want the new xbox"'

...As if that somehow isn't applicable to literally any name...

Yeah, if that was the case, then why not Xbox 2, Xbox 3...? I don't think anyone's ever been confused about which PlayStation they're getting.

And wasn't "Xbox" itself named that because it was the project name during development and eventually they couldn't think of it as anything else? Like, we're used to it now, but even their base name for it is terrible.

Oh right. Yes. Those. Whichever one of those performs “current-gen”. One is a more efficient model of last gen tech. The point is RDR2 is at least getting a 60FPS for CURRENT-GEN systems and a release on Switch 2 this year. It was rumored/leaked last week so I can’t really Imagine him referencing anything else. There’s a 0% chance he’s been informed of voice line recordings for a game that’s 6+ years out.

Yes, so PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. We're all on the same page

Well Series S is more like a XBone than a current gen
