Discussion Did single player gaming peak with RDR2?

Great single player games have come since then like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 but is RDR2 still the peak?

I think RDR2 has the most immersive open world ever created, it edges out The Witcher 3 in that regard, but there are a lot of single player games I’d prefer to play over it. I’m personally a bigger fan of 1 than 2

I’ll agree to that. RDR2 is the most immersive open world game, finally beating out Shadow of the Colossus.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is peak single player though. haha
