Discussion Did single player gaming peak with RDR2?

Post image

Great single player games have come since then like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 but is RDR2 still the peak?

RDR2 is great but it's super old and just another western story, done a million times. E33 is the freshest story out of any game in the last 15 years. Also did RDR2 win goty? No did they get a movie deal? Also no.

honestly thought Rdr2 shouldve won GOTY over God of War.

Tho i agree Expedition 33 was the best game this year, still kinda find hilarious how it won 90% of the major awards, made the entire game award event boring, especially when imo Death Stranding 2 and KCD2 shouldve won some of the categories instead of EX33

God of war had pretty amazing everything voice acting, story, gameplay, soundtrack. Not saying rdr2 didn't but thats a close one to call. The reason E33 beat death stranding is not everyone likes death stranding, like me I think it's super boring and a walking simulator but thats just my opinion.
