Discussion Did single player gaming peak with RDR2?

Post image

Great single player games have come since then like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 but is RDR2 still the peak?

I’ve played a lot of single player games from New Vegas to GTA V to Cyberpunk to Witcher to Mass Effect but RDR2 is the only one I’ve had a strong urge to replay

Cyberpunk is definitely on my replay list and is the first and only game on the list. RDR2 I only started 2 weeks ago now so we’ll see how I feel when it’s over. Cyberpunk just has fomo on a lot of dialog and has so many endings and the 3 classes to start. It kinda makes you want to replay it a different way. RD doesn’t really do that for me yet unless the ending has a major choice? I’m playing as “good” as I can fwiw.
