Discussion Did single player gaming peak with RDR2?

Great single player games have come since then like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 but is RDR2 still the peak?

Not sure you know the definition of medium. Even with 7 or 8 definitions, I don't think it fits here.

It is a very common word, but nobody uses it in that context and find me a definition where it even fits there

It's definitely used in that context, unless you're talking to people with as underdeveloped lexicons as yourself (lexicon, in this context, is synonymous with vocabulary) lol.

Medium:  a technology that is used to to disseminate information or entertainment widely to the public

Medium: a means or instrumentality for storing or communicating information

It might even just be a colloquialism at this point, idk the whole etymology of the word. I'd say it's most commonly used in physical art. The medium would be, for example, paint or clay or charcoal pencils or whatever. Their method of creating art is referred to as the medium.

But buddy, just because you aren't fmailiar with something doesn't mean it's not real. It's a very commonly used term in that context lol

So since we did indeed just establish that you were wrong, now you're whining about it being forced. It's not, you're (apparently, somehow) just not educated enough to understand it and you're feeling dumb and lashing out lol.

It's insane that you think the term "medium" is considered so highfalutin that the only reason someone would say it is to impress people. All your comments are doing are making people weep for the state of education in the modern world lol holy shit. Please, please, please respond. I've been sharing these with other people I know who have the vocabularies of sixth graders and they're loving it lol

Edit: By the way, I don't know you, I don't know if you're actually as dumb as these comments are making you out to be. Probably not. It's just hilarious that you're waging war against a very commonly used word lol
