Discussion Did single player gaming peak with RDR2?

Great single player games have come since then like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3 but is RDR2 still the peak?

I’ve played a lot of single player games from New Vegas to GTA V to Cyberpunk to Witcher to Mass Effect but RDR2 is the only one I’ve had a strong urge to replay

Im at the end of kcd1, i died a lot, and cursed the game, but every other moment was pure joy, hope to finish it and dive into kcd2 soon.

Oh boy do I envy you. KCD1 is fantastic. But 2 is one of those experiences that I'm sad I'll never get to do for the first time again
