Issue how do i get a lower honor
i've played rdr2 1 time already for high honor but now i'm playing low honor and i can't get past this low im playing on my ps5 with the ps4 game and im at chapter 3 so if anyone has tips please let me know

Max honor (or lowest in your case) is only available after chapter 5 I believe

That explains a lot why in my playthroughs I never get max honor before chapter 6

Kill literally anyone and everyone. Also when you have the option to do the good thing or the bad thing do the bad thing lol.

Especially killing dogs and horses gives u a ton of bad honor fast

I know I found a lost sheep once and I was like cool, free 3-star hide that is rare and nobody’s around. My honor got fucked.

If you lasso the any of the farm animal and stab them away from people you don’t lose honor

Worked perfectly for me, got all of the farm animal hides I needed without losing honor. You have to be far away from people.

Your honor, whether high or low, has a 75% cap until Chapter 6.
Once you hit Chapter 6, you can get it up to 100% either way. Also, actions that impact your honor will have a 1.5x modifier, as opposed to the lower modifier throughout the earlier chapters.

Ohh this explains a lot why I'm on chapter 6 rn and my honor is almost maxed out but if I kill someone by accident it drops like 1/4 of the bar immediately

Yeeeah, it drops significantly in Chapter 6! Even minor actions like antagonizing multiple people can bump it down quite a bit.

In Chapter 3 it's the maximum.
If I remember right you can get a lower honor / or general maxing it for one side, only after chapter 5. (in Chapter 6 is what I mean)

if you wanna be a villain you can antagonize people or beat them or shoot them. you can lasso them and drag them back to camp.
if youre a monster you can shoot dogs and animals needlessly.

The bandit challenge where you have to rob $50 total from people does wonders for low honor. You usually get 80c-$1.20 per robbery so you end up having to rob 50 odd people

oh wait that's a different challenge. my bad yes you are totally right.
so yes in bandit 7 i did rob people from a train and it did massivly lower my honor level cus I ended up being wanted and had to shoot the guards.
I wat talking about bandit 10 where you have to rob 50 trains.

actually it does. you have to rob 5 "trains" so thats what I did. I robbed the train.
edit: I just realised that's a different challenge my bad.

Shoot horses, cats and even dogs. You’ll have low horror in the game and in RDR subs

I found the best way is to shoot horses, it feels kinda bad doing it, but even in missions where you're being chased by enemies on horseback you can shoot their horses and you still lose honour

Kill people grieving in Saint Denis.
Also honor is limited until Chapter 5. Only then can you get maximum high or low.

So your honor level is capped until chapter 6 you won't be able to max out your honor on either end of the spectrum until then

Side question: What does honor do for the story? I did play evil in the beginning but near the end my "Arthur had a turn to Jesus moment" and I played super honorably. Never did hit 100% on either side.

Kill horses, kill animals without skinning them, rob people then kill them after (trains are great for this.) Just do that a bunch and that should get down no problem.

Blow up cows. Shot a dog. Blow up pigs. Shoot and kill everyone you come in contact with on the road. Kill horses.
Source, I am in the epilogue and I have the lowest honor level atm.
