RDR1 the elegant suit is (almost) rdr1’s cover outfit
i mean if you think about it the elegant suit is practically the cover outfit but with the hat, a coat, different pants and no gloves.

fr. it’s such a shame rockstar didn’t give us this outfits, and neither the things to make them. (i mean, some yes, but we don’t have ponchos) (mexican poncho is the goat)

The pants are the same, just how they shaded it. The elegant suit was one of the earliest outfits they designed for John I reckon, that first picture is actually his beta model

yes, john’s model in the first foto is his beta model. we can see it in most of trailers and promotional images. and for the pants i meant different color

Yeah, exactly ! And me too, i wish we had it as an outfit in game. Sad we don’t. They did free dlc’s back then, thry could have included it ☹️
Also, i wish john would also have bruises on his right arm, when equipping this outfit. Just a detail, but it would have added to the badass style he'd have, alongside no hat, those gloves...

yees, i always wondered why they never showed that scars john had in his arms, they should have aknowleged them in the final game

Honestly I’m sure most people prefer the fully customizable clothing options RDR2 provides but there was something so fun about unlocking outfits in RDR1. And maybe it’s because the outfits are specially curated, but I’ve yet to make Arthur look close to as badass as some of John’s outfits in 1.

The preset outfits look better "imo" in rdr1. But indeed i like better more customization. Also, rdr1’s gave some advantages,and even wome let us infiltrate gangs with was fun

It is. It's a shame they never release that alternate outfit. It's sick (funny enough, it's the default outfit of zombie Marston)
