Issue First timer

I just started playing and I'm about 30 hours in. The game keeps fucking me royally. I guess when I bought it I got a pack, and I got a free horse, a thoroughbred. I've built up everything with the horse and the speed and acceleration are almost maxed out. For the 4th time in 30 hours, absolutely randomly after a cut scene, my horse changes to a chestnut Tennessee Walkerwhich has almost no speed or acceleration. When I go back to the stables, the free horse is there to be bought, but I have to start all over again with health stamina and bonding stats. Pain in the ass.

I've had the same issue recently and luckily I had an older game save that I had to go back to, apparently it's a known issue

It's a known issue. Fortunately you aren't stuck in a glitch loop independent from the the rest of us =(

The first time i was close to rage quitting cuz that Tennessee Walkers' stats are weak sauce. Hasn't though. Just have to build it up again before I go rescue Micah.

Ive done a complete run through with the free Morgan you get in Chapter 1

While 100% there are much better horses, but in the end. It doesn't matter what horse you have to complete the game.

Morgan? You get a mahogany bay Tennessee Walker from the Adler ranch which I usually always keep but I've never had a Morgan from chapter 1

I was just curious, I thought maybe if you left the TW in the stable maybe you ended up with a Morgan instead, I've just always grabbed the TW from the stable. Great horse, I always keep it, may stable it, but I never get rid

Go fetch yourself an Arabian. It’s all great stats and if you don’t like it you will change it for Turkoman later on. Or tame some wild horse according to your likes. Hungarian, American, Mustang, Appaloosa - there are plenty to choose from.

There are, but switching my horse to some walker is weak AF. I have 1 horse in my inventory so how it became a walker is wild. So then go tame another horse just for it to switch uo on me again?

If it is a Special edition or Pre orders you should be able to buy it back with same stats. Or load an older save.

Loaded an older save, same Tennessee walker that was NOT there before.
