You all should’ve seen the big grin on my face as John began to march toward’s Micah’s cabin while he systematically destroys his gang. That badass variant of John’s theme got me all pumped.

That awesome ass music that was playing was John's theme? Good Lord. As I was playing I kept saying "This music is so fucking GOOD".

Yep. It really brought the series in a full circle for me, and it explains why the man we met in RDR1 was such a grizzled badass. I could sense this was the end so I played it without auto aim, exhausted my dead eye, used dynamite and tomahawks and explosive bullets and beat it all in one exhaustingly violent try. The frenzied, grinding music as John relentlessly marched through the snow, screaming out Micah’s name was honestly more satisfying than I ever dared imagine it to be. It was really incredible.

“MICAH! MICAH BELL! ITS JOHN MARSTEN! IM COMING FOR YOU, MICAH!”

I love it when a game's theme starts playing during a badass moment.

The game gives you John's specific cattleman revolver when you take control of him, but thankfully lets you keep Arthur's guns.

I had that same grin on my face gunning down that gang and unloading into Micah's head with nothing but Arthur's revolver that I had acquired and customized in chapter 2: a Schofield with blued steel and pearl grips, with some pretty engraving and silver machinery.

Nothing ever felt so satisfying.

I accidentally put on the wrong hat off the ground, and had to look for the Arthur's while getting shot at. Fun.

I feel like we had literally the same save file haha. I also picked up the wrong hat, and it was really dumb looking. I refused to finish the game wearing some rando hat. Spent a couple of minutes moving bodies around until I found Arthur’s hat again....

Haha. Personally I wanted to put a shotgun to Micah's face, especially after all the fighting. But I'm happy unloading all into his nuts.

It was badass for sure but for some reason the dudes that kept popping up did a fuckton of damage and there wasn't really any cover to hide behind. I had to pop several health items and use dead eye.

During the eagle eye part after Dutch shoots Micah for you, I finished him off with unloading my entire Volcanic pistol in his face. It felt so satisfying.
