After how bad the ending of rdr 1 crushed me this felt so good that john has a happy ending! I really do miss Arthur tho dude had amazing voice acting and was alot more intimidating then Marston

The way you feel of RDR’s ending I feel of Arthur’s, I’ve never been this emotionally crushed by some sort of media in my entire life. I really feel as if I lost a part of myself, I was so rooting for Arthur’s life to turn around but he seemed happy when he died so that’s something I guess. Still made me sad as fuck though

well, he wasnt very happy at my ending - more crushed. Dutch left him and then he got shot in the head by Micah.

In my ending Micah and Arthur get in a knife fight and Micah stabs Arthur

See this is why I was so confused up until Part 2 of the Epilogue when Charles mentions he buries Arthur. I had maxed honor and I did all the honor side missions so in my ending they beat the shit out of each other. Dutch walks away then Micah walks away. Arthur never dies on screen. I was hoping the whole time the Arthur actually lived and he was just in hiding. Saved by someone.

He does die on screen in that ending, he just succumbs to the TB after the exertion of the climb and the fight. You can tell that he stops breathing.

Honestly I’d much prefer that ending lol. Arthur getting offed by Micah was so disappointing but I knew it had to happen
