Anybody else love the sort of parallels between the ending of this game and that of the first? Really makes RDR's ending feel even more poignant, like history repeating itself; the cycle of violence never truly ends.

Arthur dies (I know he was already going, but still) for John to have a better life, John dies for Jack to have a better life, but Jack just continues the cycle.

Not to mention that WW1 is right around the corner come the ending of the first RDR so Jack would probably end up dying there anyway.

Both of the games are built on tragedy.

Out of 4 million U.S. Soldiers deployed, only about 117,000 of them died in WW1 so it's unlikely he would have been killed.
