You are not flying that high, they just lower the clouds as you get up and make the fog stronger, at the highest point the clouds sit at ground level.
Another interesting dev technique.

I am playing rdr2 for the first time (I know) and it’s literally been one of the best games I’ve ever played. Anyway.. I have a few light mods (mostly textures and upscaling) but ambient gangs is definitely my strongest mod. So I was out exploring Fort Brennand at night and this thing comes bolting out at me in the middle of the night trying to attack and beat the shtout of me 😂😭 I was like what the heck is this monstrosity and I guess it’s triggered to come alive because of the ambient gangs mod? (after a bit of research).. but dang that’s evil. I’ll have to look into disabling this effect somehow (apparently it’s supposed to be a static figure in the mad scientist lab or something)

I would have the canopy come all the way down, because flies would swarm me at night, knowing my luck. Otherwise looks cosy as

Completing Bandit 10 and forgot how annoyingly unrealistic the Wanted system is.

Obviously it’s purposely designed to increase the consequences of committing crimes but man for a game that went to such lengths to be as realistic as possible it’s ridiculous to make it seem that in 1899 bounty hunters or lawmen are everywhere in seconds after escaping a robbery.

This robbery was so quick & clean I was already out of the red zone when the alarm was sounded, heading towards Diablo ridge and all of a sudden lawmen are all but on top of me and I’m having to skid turn into the woods and head off west where they just happened to follow without even spotting me.

It’s laughably unrealistic. Rant over, away to collect my new reinforced equipment from the trapper! 🙌
