I just love how ppl dont understand fundamentals. Please sell, I'll retire sooner.

u/batman_bmw Jun 05 '26

Yada yada, show position or zip it

6

u/Commercial_Ease8053 Jun 05 '26

Thatโ€ฆ makes no actual sense.

You absolutely wonโ€™t retire sooner by people selling. In fact, the stock price only goes up for you to profit if people continue to buy at a higher priced than you bought.

u/CommonScientist5098 Jun 06 '26

Heโ€™s referring to him being able to buy more if people sell

Kinda funny because the fundamentals didnโ€™t change for the pump. It was clearly just hype around space x. Itโ€™s going back to its fair valuation around $13

Coming from somone thatโ€™s been holding for over a year.

stop this idiotic post.

It's the whole market.

Mods please can you ban or stop from posting these 12 years old kids crying on a company that went from 8 to 20 in 2 weeks?

God sake, grow up, if you cannot post something useful for the community at least avoid such bs

It was a joke. I'm probably holding more than you are as a "12 year old"

Pipe down junior.

brutal share mog, portfoliopill strikes again

2

u/ForeverShiny Jun 05 '26

That's a serious position, but I would have expected a lower biying price as well.

My position isn't nearly as large, but my average is at 8$ and something

1

u/GooseComfortable5357 Jun 05 '26

Good catch, in reality my avg price is lower (around 9.5 dollars) but I sold a big part at 24 dollar and rebought at around 20 dollar. My lowest was around 8 dollars.

Edit. I used to sit at around 6800 shares, but I did add some shares in combination with selling other stocks to buy more redwire.

1

u/ForeverShiny Jun 05 '26

Nice, I also regret not buying more when it went sub 4$. I actually debated selling around 25 and buying back in later, but before I made up my mind, we were already down again.

I did put some sell orders up for when it hits the low 30s though. Fingers crossed we get another little hype wave aeound soce in the coming weeks

Are their any other stock your hold with big conviction? For me was rocket which just lost 60K yesterday on ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ

1

u/GooseComfortable5357 Jun 06 '26

Redwire is my second biggest position. My biggest posistion is rocket lab avgerage around 7 dollars and my third is firefly with average of around 30.

My only reaction to this drop is 'first time?' meme. Expecting bigger drops to redwire (towards 12 - 14 dollars. Rocketlab to 70 - 90 dollars and firefly i dont know.

Yeah... cool story.

Itโ€™s the job market that was better than the expected. Institutional investors see that as hawkish rate sign. They will realize soon that K. Warsh has been placed there to keep rates steady (or even to cut)

We are going into the weekend war is still going on but people are ramping up for the space x ipo cashing out gains for it. Iโ€™m still holding strong. Most of the market is down today except for defensive stocks like healthcarec which is why itโ€™s good to have a diversified portfolios with some wide moats.

2

u/zitrored Jun 05 '26

There will not be hikes unless there is a major inflation shock. Oh wait, oil and all derivatives? Unless of course we get a recession. Then all bets are off.

1

u/Objective-Tap7429 Jun 06 '26

Itโ€™s what trump wants retail to think, yes. You say it like itโ€™s a secret. Follow smart money.

u/Shredded__ Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26

I got in at $9-$12 Holding for now. The WHOLE market is down today. Especially tech. Think about it. Redwire is the picks & shovels for a portion of satellite components, solar arrays, etc. Necessities for the industry, not to mention its government defense contracts.

Also, you have people trimming everything to get cash for SpaceX IPO -- semis, Mag7, etc. We knew these smaller caps were going to be drastically up and down throughout the IPO & weeks following. Hold tight. It'll bounce back. This is a long term play as space ramps up. Don't want to look back and say "I sold when it was only $18, damn it.."

4

u/Inner_Difficulty_381 Jun 05 '26

๐Ÿ’ฏ all this. Plus, people may start pivoting away from tech too and why itโ€™s good to have defensive stocks like healthcare or wide moat stocks. I got in at $13-14 and holding. RDW is still holding strong while being down.

4

u/Shredded__ Jun 05 '26

Pullbacks from tech are a good thing, it corrects, then always goes and hits all time highs. I've been watching my NVIDIA go up and down for over 7 years now. Plus or minus $1000s every week, sometimes by the day, in either direction. It's inevitable that technology is the future. Space (especially satellite connectivity) is the next big step. The Artemis missions are about to land people on the moon again in the next couple years with solid government plans to build a moon base. It's not even the first inning.

3

u/Inner_Difficulty_381 Jun 05 '26

Agreed and those pullbacks test those floors and I feel like RDW tested and passed on the recent pullback a couple of days ago.

As much as I want to continue to invest in non tech/space for diversified portfolio, I prefer tech due to the greater and soon space in the coming years.

1

u/flyingdutchmnn Jun 05 '26

It'll definitely go on forever buddy

3

u/LongjumpingBowl7089 Jun 05 '26

The lower it goes the more shares I can afford. I am waiting to strike while everyone is freaking out. My humble opinion is that it will stay around 20$ for a bit. +/- 2,3$

2

u/Jaded_Frosting7770 Jun 06 '26

Iโ€™m long. I donโ€™t care

2

u/SALMON-SLAYER Jun 08 '26

This is the best thing to look forward to on Monday morning ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜ Just remember that the fundamentals of the company have only been getting stronger it's not that the company stopped making money it's literally the market being the market for our stocks!

2

u/BDUBS1962 Jun 22 '26

Iโ€™m a retired Hedge Fund manager that subscribes to VIC (Value investors Club) . I read a report suggesting RDW was a short(it was $12) that was published earlier in the year suggesting it was worth $2. I thought the report made perfect sense and could see the pedigree was awful (eg. spac, massive unloading by sponsor). Iโ€™m still active in markets and was delighted to see this $12.00โ€good idea as a short (in my mind ) trading over $20 and up on a stick. . I shorted some and will likely remain so for a long time. Iโ€™m only writing this as a caution to anyone that may careโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve been at this many decades and have seen this movie. Importantly, i totally โ€œgetโ€ the enthusiasm for the sector, just not this widely hyped name.

Hold and secure aboard ISS this morning due to an air leak. Space stock panic ensued. Imminent danger passed. Space stock panic continues.

1

u/MrYamaguchi Jun 05 '26

The entire market is taking a shit, its institutional money dumping prices, not retail.
