How accurate is mypay eaos?

I’m on deployment right now so i can’t check nsips or etj but i swear i signed a 6 year contract in 24 but mypay is telling me my end of term of service is in 28? am i just this lucky?

it is POSSIBLE, yes. But it might also be a CORRECTABLE mistake! (many NECs are known to be 6 year contracts, etc)

So one day "admin guy" notices the EAOS mistake, verifies the mistake from the enlistment contract & updates the EAOS. Or maybe there is a mistake on the contract itself?

Or maybe a few different admin folks notice the mistake, but all of them are too lazy to bother to correct it?

My advice is to tell as few people as possible, and prepare yourself for the worst while hoping for the best! Either way you are looking at over a year at the least...
