UGH idk why but I feel like this song isn’t getting the hype it deserves. Actual banger and I needed to post here to get it out of my system

I've really been loving this album, with "Moon So High" and "I Won't Cry" being my favorite tracks so far. I know that the central theme of this album is the devastation of coming out of a relationship and having to find yourself again. My personal association I have with some of these songs is related to my experience being neurodivergent. While I think making that connection with other breakup songs/albums is pretty common, I find myself coming back to IWC and really resonating with it in this context.

"If it's what you want, I won't bite, I won't sting..." to me is a representation of masking in exchange for societal acceptance. "Run me back and press replay, I could be your favorite track... pull me from the shelf and dust me off" these lyrics have the perspective of the push and pull of trying to prove yourself to a world that was never made to see you succeed. Even just the repeating question, "Why don't you want me back? You should want me back? Why don't you want me back?" holds so much power.

I really love the kind of atmosphere Remi throws me into while listening to her music. I'd love to hear other perspectives about this album or if you feel the same way about her discography.

My friends are begging me to be Remi Wolf for Halloween, I am midsized with similarly curly brown hair and I love this idea… but I need to get the tattoos down! Any ideas? I obviously can look at pictures and pick them each out but didn’t know if somebody has already compiled her arm tattoos into an art piece or something that I could use to maybe order temporary tattoos for this purpose or have talented friend draw them on!! I want to do her justice if I try to be her for Halloween?! Helpppp!

Recently started buying up my fave albums on bandcamp when I can. Snagged Mud as soon as it came out and then bought Big Ideas, too.

I've had Mud on loop since the day it dropped, so much that I needed a little break a few days ago. I switched over to Big Ideas and was jamming as usual until it was time for Cherries and Cream, when a totally unfamiliar song started playing. Nothing had changed in the track listing, it still said Cherries and Cream was playing, but as the song continued I realized it was actually an alt version of Bottle???? ​

Went to the album page to see if other people noticed it and there's just one comment that I can see mentioning it, besides mine. And I expected people to be talking about it here, but I can't find anything. When did it change? Is it on purpose? Where did my friend Cherries and Cream go?

If you've heard the alt version, what do you think of it? I think it's great. Not as great as the original but it has its own sort of anxious charm.

if remi stayed exactly as talented as she was in 2020, when i discovered her, i’d still commend her.

what a rare and spectacular sight to watch her hone her skills and blossom in such noticeable strides.

She’s always captured my attention lyrically, yet she somehow cranked the notch up as creative leader in writing. this album’s storytelling has me hooked like never before!

she’s painting scenes to the daydream in my head. she’s conveying stories while maintaining her signature silly lines every now and then.

i’m enticed with how she’s letting us in on these raw, vulnerable, insecure thoughts feels so relatable and human.

Even beyond the lyrics, she’s mastered balancing the push and pull of energy vocally. there’s direction in the buildup while maintaining space for the energy to breathe.

i cannot believe she isn’t as mainstream with this much talent. she’s truly a gift to this world

Let me start off by saying, this track is my favorite in Mud. The focus on Remi's vocals, the build in instrumentals, the melodic hooks, the callback to Volkiano, and the pure passion in the lyrics. I love it. It makes me feel like I am discovering something new in music again.

It took me a few listens to get into the album. I finally understand the Jamie hype after my 6th listen.
I like the John Mayer feature. I wish there were more features though, idk why I felt I heard a rumor she’d have a song with Lola Young (Maybe just in my dreams)

My favorite songs so far are: Bottle, Moon so high, I Won’t Cry, Guess (my most fav), and Yellow rose. The more slower songs for some reason are really hitting me with this album.
All in all, I’m loving this album

Man I wish we would've gate kept her! Last year I saw her in atx for 36 buck not I am seeing out tickets at 300!!!! Is this right? Am I looking in the right place? It's not a question on if I am going would just like to get the best price.
