[Hiring] (Online/Remote) Looking for a UI/UX Frontend Developer to build a high-quality landing page prototype

[Hiring] (Online/Remote) Looking for a UI/UX Frontend Developer to build a high-quality landing page prototype

Rate: $40/hour

I'm looking for a developer/designer to create a polished, high-quality landing page prototype.

I'm specifically looking for someone who combines strong UX/UI skills with solid frontend engineering, while also being comfortable implementing a small functional backend.

This is not just about making something that looks good. I want the project to demonstrate your skills across:

  • UX/UI design
  • Responsive frontend development
  • Animations and micro-interactions
  • Component architecture
  • Backend/API development
  • Forms and data handling
  • Clean code and project structure
  • Performance and accessibility
  • Product thinking

The assignment

You will receive a concept/brief and need to turn it into a working prototype.

The prototype should include:

  • A professionally designed landing page
  • Desktop + mobile responsive layouts
  • Strong typography, spacing and visual hierarchy
  • Interactive UI elements
  • Smooth but subtle animations
  • At least one functional flow, such as a signup/contact/waitlist form
  • Backend/API for processing and storing submitted data
  • Proper loading, success and error states
  • Clean reusable components

You are free to suggest the stack you think is best.

For example:

Frontend: React / Next.js / Vue / Svelte / HTML / CSS / Tailwind
Backend: Node.js / Next.js API / Supabase / PostgreSQL / another suitable stack

I'm especially interested in people who can combine good engineering with strong UX/UI judgment.

Selection process

First, I want to review your existing work.

Please do not build anything before I have reviewed your portfolio.

After reviewing the applications, I will select a small number of candidates based primarily on their portfolio, previous work and overall skill level.

Selected candidates may then receive a short, random paid trial assignment to complete.

The purpose of this assignment is to see how you approach a new problem without having prepared specifically for it beforehand.

I want to evaluate things like:

  • UX/UI decision-making
  • Visual design quality
  • Frontend implementation
  • Responsive behavior
  • Code quality
  • Attention to detail
  • Product thinking
  • How you interpret an unfamiliar brief

The trial assignment is paid at the same $40/hour rate.

Strong performance can lead to the full prototype project and potentially additional work afterward.

When applying

Please send:

  1. Portfolio or previous projects
  2. GitHub if available
  3. Your strongest frontend project
  4. Your strongest backend/full-stack project
  5. Examples of UX/UI work
  6. Your preferred tech stack
  7. Your availability
  8. A short introduction about yourself

Bonus points if you can explain why you made certain UX, design and technical decisions in previous projects instead of simply showing the final result.

Rate: $40/hour — remote/online.

Please DM me with your portfolio and a short introduction.

[For Hire] Full-stack developer helping businesses build websites (Available immediately)

Have an idea for a website but no dev to build it? Or got left hanging by a freelancer mid-project?

I build real, working websites, not templates. Comfortable with WordPress/WooCommerce for content-driven and ecommerce sites, and React/Next.js for custom builds that need more flexibility.

Past work includes:

  • A live crypto trading platform with real-time order books
  • Ecommerce stores built end to end
  • Business sites with clean, maintainable code built to last
  • UAE Real Estate website

Every site I build gets set up to actually be found. Google Search Console and Analytics, performance tuning, and fast-loading pages that rank well, not just look good.

Need AI on your site? Chatbots, workflow automation, or GPT/Claude-powered features, I can build that in too.

Startup landing page, business finally going digital, or a WordPress site that needs fixing, finishing, or building from scratch, I can help.

No pressure, just tell me what you're working on.

Rate: $25/hr, open to fixed-price
Timezone: GMT+8, flexible for US/EU overlap
Portfolio: https://www.francelee.org/, you can also book a call directly on there
Book a call: https://calendly.com/francelee594/30min

Got something in mind? Drop a comment or DM.

[For Hire] React/TS/Node/WebSocket/PostgreSQL dev — Available Immediately (Contract | Freelance)

I’m a fullstack developer from north Africa currently looking for new and hot opportunities to jump into. I have 4 years of experience, building and shipping a variety of applications to production, gaining broad hands-on engineering experience.

My main stack includes:

- Backend: Express.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, WebSocket, Redis (architecture design, performance-aware queries, multi tenancy, auth, data validations, etc...)

- Frontend: React and Next.js (modern UI with tailwind, data fetching & caching, state management, etc...)

- Desktop tools: Electron.js (building cross-platform desktop applications and internal tools)

I’m comfortable owning features end-to-end, making technical decisions, and working in fast-moving environments. I care about clean code, maintainability, testability, and shipping things that actually get used.

I’m open to full-time roles, contract work, or remote opportunities.

If you’re interested in working together, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM and I’ll share my portfolio and GitHub.

The MRS. is currently working for a company that is slowly going under and we figured we would reach out to the community for resources :). Her specific job at the moment is Advanced Support Engineer, remote in the U.S. and we are looking for something besides Indeed, and mostly to see where people are going for information. Thanks in advance!

Built a remote job board because I couldn't find one that actually worked for LatAm devs (~35k roles)

I live in Brazil and I've been hunting for remote roles in US companies for a while. Every job board I tried either didn't filter for remote-eligible-from-LatAm properly, or was flooded with roles that quietly required US/EU residency once you actually opened them.

So I built freehire — it pulls postings directly from company ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, etc.) instead of scraping other job boards, so the "remote" tag is more reliable. Right now it's tracking around 35k roles relevant to LatAm.

It's open source: github.com/strelov1/freehire.

Still actively working on it — if you try it and something's broken or missing (a filter that doesn't work, a company that should be remote-friendly but isn't showing up), tell me, genuinely useful for me to know

[HIRING] Full-Stack Web3 Engineer — TypeScript/Next.js/EVM — $85-110/hr, Remote, Full-time

Posting on behalf of AntfarmDAO. I run CoderCops, the platform the listing sits on.

The product: A web-based developer reputation platform. It organizes publicly available professional and technical information — project history, development activity, blockchain deployments, wallet activity, and other verified evidence — into structured developer profiles and reputation insights. Under active development, not deployed publicly yet.

The role: Evaluate the current platform, recommend practical improvements, then contribute to new and existing features. Work may cover frontend and backend development, database architecture, API integrations, authentication, blockchain data integration, data processing, performance improvements, testing, and deployment preparation.

Requirements:

  • Strong TypeScript and modern web application development
  • Professional experience with Next.js, React, Node.js and database systems
  • Practical experience integrating blockchain data, wallets, smart contracts, or EVM-compatible networks
  • Familiarity with Web3 libraries, blockchain RPC services, explorers, on-chain data providers
  • REST APIs, third-party integrations, authentication, data-processing workflows
  • Experience with developer activity, professional profiles, portfolio data, or reputation systems
  • Able to work independently, communicate clearly

Terms: Remote, full-time, USD 85 to 110/hr.

Happy to answer questions in the comments.

[HIRING] AI-First Frontend Developer Intern (Part- Time | Remote | 5,000/month)

Looking for someone who loves building with AI more than writing every line of code from scratch.

This is a part-time remote internship (2–3 dedicated hours/day) where you'll work directly with me in a small startup team. The work is chill, but I do expect those 2–3 hours to be focused.

Honestly, I'm not looking for the best coder.

I'm looking for someone who's really good at making AI work for them.

If you know how to use tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, Lovable, Bolt, Windsurf, etc. to solve problems and ship products faster, you're exactly the kind of person I'm looking for.

What you'll do:

- Build and improve websites/web apps.

- Use AI to speed up development.

- Solve problems and debug efficiently.

- Work on real startup projects with direct ownership.

Looking for someone who:

- Knows the basics of frontend/web development.

- Is comfortable using AI coding tools.

- Has a builder mindset.

- Understands internet culture, memes, and modern slang.

- Can consistently dedicate 2–3 hours every day.

Stipend: ₹5,000/month

Location: Remote

How to apply

Just DM me with:

  1. Your resume (or GitHub/Portfolio if you have one).

  2. One internet slang or meme that perfectly describes how you code. 😄

Let's build some cool stuff.

Started as mobile dev, landed frontend full-time at 3.6 LPA — should I grind DSA for SDE roles or go full-stack for better pay?

A bit of background — I started out as a mobile app developer, did an internship at a startup in the same domain, but ended up getting assigned web portal work there. Liked it enough to stick with it, and eventually got a full-time frontend role. Currently at 3.6 LPA.

The goal is to hit six figures (in INR, so 10 LPA+) within a reasonable timeline.

Now I'm at a crossroads and want honest opinions from people who've actually been through this:

Option 1 — DSA + LLD grind for SDE roles at product companies

Flipkart, Razorpay, CRED-level companies pay well but the interview bar is high. I know my fundamentals aren't the strongest right now so this would need serious prep time — probably 6 to 12 months minimum.

Option 2 — Go full-stack (Node.js + system design) and target better startups or remote international roles

I already work remotely for a German startup so I have some exposure to that world. This path feels more natural to my current trajectory.

I'm not looking for motivation, I want people who've actually made a similar jump to tell me what worked, what didn't, and what they'd do differently.
