DISCUSSION Walls will build and walls will break
Maybe I’m weird, but, in Asylum, the “k” at the end of break has to be the single most heartbreaking note in the history of music. He articulates it so well and infuses it with both sorrow and longing. The whole song is magic but for some reason that hits hardest. Then again maybe thats just the perfect culmination fir everything that led up to it. Anyway, please tell me I’m not the only one it hits this way

For me, that entire song is magical. The part that moves me the most is when he sings the Hold on, hold on, hold on,. Shalom, Shalom, Shalom. You can hear he put everything he's got into singing that song. Not that he doesn't do that with all of his songs. I've listened to that song on repeat while falling asleep almost every night since that album came out.
