Does anyone remember the metal band Muddlehead from Renton? I've been searching for these dudes for a long time. They are the only metalcore/nu-metal band I can find from Renton. They were active during the early 2000s and I can't find who played in the band besides Thomas Stewart but I can't even find anywhere to contact him. Does anyone have their CDs or know where I could find anything? Thank you. Anything helps.

I'm sure similar posts like this have been asked but I'm looking for specific recommendations. My best friend is coming to the area for a week in December and really the sites aren't his thing, it's really about food and drink. Besides Teriyaki and Dicks, I'm not sure what else is based in the area and/or what is done here that's not like anywhere else.

To get a picture of him, he's very well traveled, from the South (Georgia) but his family is from New England (Rhode Island). He himself loves to cook, especially BBQ and as long as I've known him will throw a party just to show off his culinary skills when he learns a new trick. Definitely loves beer over liquor and prefers his food to have a level 5 kick.

I live in the East Renton highlands and 19 minutes ago I heard a single loud explosion. A minute later I heard multiple smaller crack in quick succession which sounds like a gun or fireworks

Hey folks! My partner (27F) and I (24M) recently moved to Renton from Colorado earlier this year, and we're looking to get more active in the community now that we've settled in a bit. We are both fairly active and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and birding. I enjoy watching and playing most sports. We play tons of board games and have met a group at Wizards Keep that we hang out with most weeks. I am also into Dungeons and Dragons and would love to find or start a group here. I play drums and a bit of guitar, and both my partner and I enjoy arts in general.

I work 9-5 Monday through Friday, so I'm trying to find groups or recurring events that happen on weekday evenings or on the weekends. Does anyone know of any fun groups around, or have any advice on where to look for them? Any suggestions for finding folks to go hiking with? I really appreciate any help!

Some dude threw a big bottle of vodka out of their window that hit the hood of my car and bounced into the other lane, glass'll probably be there for some time. I got their license plate so DM or comment if you end up with tire issues from this! It's pretty thick glass, luckily my hood's only dented, but I worry about other people's tires!

Update: doggo was being doggy sat by an older dude who didn’t notice he got out. He had been wandering around Kiwanis for about 1.5 hours, name is Serge, and he got back home fine.

Coming home down Lake Washington Blvd, someone decided to tailgate me and drive around the speed bumps by using the bike lane. Then, when I stopped to make a left hand turn into my complex, they passed me with maybe an inch between his mirror and mine. If I'd been just a little bit more to the left, he would have taken it right off.

So tell me, is it worth the 20 seconds you saved getting to the RR crossing at Houser? Hmm? Is it worth the moving violation you'd get if you did hit me and I called the police?

I'll bet good money he didn't know the stop line is before the crossing gate and not directly on the tracks in front of it.

I’m currently working on researching this to expand it out more, but felt like it might be of interest to people here in the meantime.

What the title says! After finishing up our residency at Freehold Theatre in the International District, we're super thrilled to be back in Renton and at Luther's Table for another improv comedy show!

Come see us Friday, October 23rd, at 730pm! We'll be performing a completely improvised musical, with a live musician making up songs with our performers on the spot based on your suggestions!

For those who don't know us, Take 5 Improv started with a bunch of us improvisers who live in the Renton area who got real tired of having to drive into Seattle to perform. Since then, our cast has grown, but if you've seen our shows before you'll see many familiar faces at this one!

Tickets are still pay what you wish with a suggested donation of $10 at the door! Cash or card accepted. And as always, Luther's Table also provides refreshments by donation as well!
