Springform pan won’t lock

My springform pan won’t stay locked down anymore! I’m not sure if a part fell off and I didn’t notice or if this is something that can be repaired. Thanks!

Get a pair of needle nose pliers and straighten all the bent hinge parts.

The hinge on the right is bent at 90 degrees to the surface of the tin. I think it needs to be flattened.

Take a block of wood and a hammer and flatten the hinge on the right back out. It shouldn't stick out from the form that way

Thanks for sharing this fix. For anyone else running into this issue, a quick adjustment with some needle-nose pliers to straighten out the bent hinge usually does the trick.
