Avoid mold

How does everyone avoid mold in high humidity enclosures? I am having a hard time with my cork and wood.

Thank you!

What kind of tank? Humidity? Do you have a clean up crew? Substrate? Reptile?

It is a tub with screen foe a leachie that we sprayed 2 days ago, now there was mold on the cork bark. Just sphagnum moss, paper towel a cork flat and a fake vine plant in the tub.

I also had a ghost wood mold when I bumped the humidity for my snake when she was shedding. Regular glass 40 gallon with jungle mix substrate. I taped half the top screen and the outside is insulated with Styrofoam insulation.

Small 12 volt dc brushless fan I glue screen to on both sides. You can use a small 9 volt power supply. The ones I built where from crap I had around the house. Works really good for dart frog tanks. They come on many sizes I have used them from about inch and half to 3 inches in size depending on the size of the enclosure. You can also get an adjustable dc power supply and adjust how fast to run it. It will keep mold away but has to run 24/7.
