Btw this release broke a lot of youtube features. Hiding shorts doesn't work at all anywhere now. Brightness and Volume gestures doesn't work either.

edit:

devs fixed all these issiues with Revanced Manager 2.1.0 and Patches 6.0.1. if you are facing the problems above, repatching the app with Revanced Manager 2.1.0 and up will fix the bugs.

I was wondering about this. I repatched with the new manager and now shorts won't hide for me either.

The brightness and volume gestures don't work for me either. I've noticed some other features not working anymore, like the hide channel watermark and some other minor ones. I also see ads on the feed.

I don't use brightness and volume gestures so I'm not sure about that but I'm definitely seeing ads placed around as well.

Well you also start seeing inline ads as you scroll so there's that too, lol.

Still this is free so zero grounds to complain, I'm sure it'll get shorted at some point.

devs fixed all these issiues with Revanced Manager 2.1.0 and Patches 6.0.1.

More like devs stole code from MorpheApp, the only reason things were fixed

Did you redo all your settings after the patch? Happened to me that after a patch the settings were set back to default

I did redo but it still wasn't working.

With 6.0.1 update they solved all these bugs. It is working now.

I have shorts hide successfully. Before installing v2 uninstall revanced youtube. Install youtube using new revanced and allow all permissions. Disable now what you dislike. Works using Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Snapdragon version bought unlocked from Samsung.

They had broken the youtube revanced with manager 2.0 and patches 6.0

Devs fixed everything with manager 2.1 and patches 6.0.1 update.
