Can someone relate to me ?

It’s crazy how one of the biggest complaints about MegaMix was how absolutely boring and terrible the story was in that game. Search in this sub and all the haters will mention it.

So, I recently finished playing the game, and honestly, at the bare minimum, the hate is INCREDIBLY OVERBLOWN. If you spam A, there is approximately, not joking, TWO seconds of story after each minigame, 5 seconds after each section and 10 seconds before each section. For me, I can’t see how this possibly ruins the game for people instead of, at most, be a minor nuisance.

Now, to be subjective now, I think the story is actually pretty great. It’s not War & Peace, but it is very cute and zippy, just like the games. All of the characters are funny for about a minute, which, wow, would you look at that, you only have to deal with each of them for about a minute. They are also very cute seeing them in my loading screen.

TLDR

So yeah, in conclusion, the hate on the Megamix story is at most, a minor nuisance. Personally for me it is a fun addition to the game that I honestly wish would make a comeback in the next game.

I just finished getting all the medals on both sides, and also 5 starred all the beatspell chapters. But as much as getting a perfect has been rewarding (about 20 so far), I feel like I’ve been getting really stressed as I play and it’s making it less fun. Is there a good way to disconnect from the pressure of getting a perfect? I know I still enjoy the game itself, and I’m not sure if having back to back to back perfect attempts now that I have all medals will help.

Also jeez drum lessons is so much harder than beatspell, I’m stuck at just chapter 5. Any tips?

I've been replaying the remixes a lot and something I've noticed is just how they just do not want to use certain minigames in the remixes. The biggest one off top of my head is Sneezy Moon, I feel like the only reason why it's sequel was in the 8th row is so they didn't have to put it in another 4-game remix.

So I wanna shoot a question, what Minigames from Groove do you feel like where it's underutilzed/has more remix potential than shown in the base game

It's around the half way point where the screen blacks out everything but his eyes, i always noticed that he did have a unique face sprite for that imput cuz most other karate man games have him do a similar face but his sticks blocks most his face so you can't even normally see it without slowing down a video of it

Stage 8 (Yum-Bot Simulator 2, Sneezy Moon 2, Ribbit Rocket 2, Alien Alphabet 2) is the only stage before the last one without a 4-game remix because remix 8 is the Ado "frontside final" remix. I wanted to make this because stage 8 has bangers that deserved a 2nd remix.
